City Year Milwaukee announces new Executive Director

City YearѾɲܰ, an education nonprofit that recruits young adults for a year of servicein public schools, is pleased to announce thatٰ.Stephanie Maney-Hartlaubhas been selectedtheǰԾپDz’snew executive director.

Dr. Maney-Hartlaub is an experienced nonprofit leaderwith exceptional educational and team leadership experience.From Milwaukee, she is a proudgraduate of Milwaukee Public Schools’ Riverside University High School.Shemost recently served as the Senior Director of Talent Strategy and Development for City Forward Collectivewhere she oversaw their talent strategy and the principal licensureprogramthey operate with Alverno College, identifying high potential leaders and developing them through a blend of rigorous study, coaching, and field experience.Prior to joining City Forward Collective, Stephanie was a teacher and administratorwithѾɲܰ Public Schools.

This year,City YearMilwaukeeAmeriCorps membersservefull-timewith13 Milwaukee Public Schools, reaching more than8,00091 each day.During their year of service,AmeriCorpsmembers serve as tutors, mentors and role models,preparing 91 with the skills and mindsets to succeed in school and in life.Nationally, schools with City Year are two to three times more likely to improve onmath and Englishassessments.
