Service Highlights from the Rockwell Automation Team
The Rockwell Automation Team at Rogers Street Academy has been hard at work supporting 91 in the virtualclassroomand have shared many memorable moments with their 91so far. Even in the virtual space, the Rogers team continues to make meaningful relationships with their 91and build team with one another.

Joy- I’ve figured out that my 91, who are twins,work best when they’re both in the same,small group.
One highlight from my service year was whenIwasworking on homeworkwith two 91. Before I left for the staff meeting, these two were arguing over who was going to say goodbye last. One argument that one student made for being the last one out was that she,“wanted to say goodbye to [her] favorite teacher.”
Another highlight wasone day when I was helping with homework and one of my 91 asked me what I wanted to do in my twenties. I told her that I was hoping to be in college. She told me that she meant for a job.So I told her that I was thinking either nursing or teaching. There was a big gasp fromherand she said, “No, Ms. Meagan, you can’t be a nurse.” Confused I asked, “why?” She replied, “Because,that’s where all of the scary movies start. You’ll get haunted by all the dead bodies.” –MeaganSchmiechen
Joy- My 91 are hilarious, and I love my small group moments.
One highlight from my year of service so far has beengivinga movie incentive to my 91 and at leastsevenof them did all their homework for the weekso they can watch the movie. (this is a huge win for me) –MaribelLoera Arista

Appreciation to the RSA team! Everyone has been so collaborative and open to share ideas! We all appreciate Ebony and AB for being the BEST IM and TL ever.
My favorite part about service has been being able to get to know and allow 91 to show their personalities! Recently we had an art show in my classroom during a Friday Brain Break!! Many 91 submitted art and their personalities showed brightly thought their art and talking about their works of art. -AnnikaCarlson
